Mrs.
Jeannette Sue Hoock, age 67, of Brannon Nix Rd., Young Harris formerly
of
Goldsboro, NC, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 in the Murphy
Medical
Center following a brief illness. Mrs.
Hoock was born on Feb. 23, 1944 in Cincinnati, OH, the daughter of the
late
Leonard Brockmeier and the late Uella Blackburn Brockmeier. Jeanette
loved
taking care of children. She enjoyed
cooking and gameshows. She was a loving
mother and grandmother. She was preceded
in death by her husband, Thomas Hoock in 2008, a son, Thomas Graham
Adams in
2009, three brothers, Donald, Harry and Leonard Brockmeier, two
sisters, Essie
Bushman and Lena Zueberer. Mrs. Hoock
was of the Catholic faith.
Surviving
Mrs. Hoock are one daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Eric Gibson of
Young
Harris, one son, Michael Ray Adams of Bradenton, FL, six grandchildren,
Lisa
Pridgen, Zachary Gibson, Matthew Gibson, Michael Vincent Ray Adams,
Raymond
Adams and Tiffany Adams, many other relatives and friends also survive.
A
memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family
requests that memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in
memory of
Mrs. Hoock.
