Mr.
Arthur Augustus Bourgeois, age 89 of Byers Creek Rd., Young Harris
passed away
on Friday, Oct. 2, 2009 at his home following an extended illness. Mr. Bourgeois was born on Oct. 20, 1919 in
Waterford, NY, the son of the late Augustus Bourgeois and the late Mary
Stanton
Bourgeois. He was a veteran of the US
Air Force of WWII. He was preceded in
death by his wife, Rita Craven Bourgeois in 2003. Mr.
Bourgeois was of the Catholic faith.
Surviving Mr.
Bourgeois are two daughters, Barbara Piper of Young Harris, Linda
Comtois of
Hempstead, VA, two sons and daughters-in-law, Arthur and Corella
Bourgeois of
Orlando, FL, Paul and Mary Ann bourgeois of Pioneer, CA, eight
grandchildren,
five great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends also survive.
A memorial
service will be held at a later date and will be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that
memorials may be made to Regency Hospice in memory of Mr. bourgeois.
