S. McConnell, age 77, of Hiawassee,
GA passed away on November 11, 2004
following an extended illness.She was
born to the late George and Mattie (Berrong) Sellers on March 5, 1927.She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr.
Creed Buford McConnell.She is survived by
daughter, Mrs. Brenda Davis, of Stockbridge, GA; son, Mr. Cecil Lamar
Sampson,
Jr., of McDonough,
GA; brother, Mrs. George
Harold Sellers, of
Mineral Bluff, GA; sister, Mrs. Lois Thomas, of Young Harris, GA;
grandchildren, Jeff Davis, Sherri Davis, and Tina King; great
grandchildren,
Trent Davis, Rachel Davis, and Kami King.A number of nieces and nephews also survive.Funeral services were held at CornerstoneBaptistChurch
on November 13,
2004
at 11AM with the
Rev. Jimmy
Rogers and the Rev. Ricky Rogers officiating.Music was by Jeff and Sherri Davis.Pallbearers were Allen Nichols, Tommy Flanagan, Jeff Free, Terry
Stroud,
Carroll McKinney, and Ed Fortenberry.Interment was in OldUnionBaptistChurch cemetery.Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge
of arrangements.

Hiawassee, GA; three sons, Tyler Arrowood, William Kain Arrowood, and

Arrowood, all of Hiawassee, GA; two brothers, Mr. Leon Arrowood and Mr.
Terence
Arrowood, both of Hiawassee, GA; sister, Mrs. Carolyn Billips, of
Charleston,
SC; Mrs. Connie Burch, of Cleveland, GA; Mrs. Judy Hunter, of
Hiawassee, GA;
