mr. john roberts

 

Mr. John Roberts, age 57, of Hiawassee, GA passed away December 18, 2004 at his home following a brief illness.  He was born on September 21, 1947 in Mexico.  He is survived by his wife, Mr. Clara Roberts, of Hiawassee, GA; daughter, Mrs. Pam Sisk, of Tennessee; sons and daughters-in-law, Matt and Trish Roberts, of Tennessee; Manuel and Michelle Arrowood of Hiawassee; sons, Johnny Roberts, of Tennessee; James Garrett, of Hiawassee, GA; Mack Neil Garrett, of Murphy, NC; twelve grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.  Funeral services were held on Monday, December 20, 2004 at 2 PM from Lower Hightower Baptist Church with the Rev. Ray Woodall officiating.  Music was provided by Lower Hightower Baptist Church Choir.  Interment was in Lower Hightower Baptist Church cemetery.  Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.

mrs. clara mae wilson

 

Mrs. Clara Mae Wilson, age 96, of Hiawassee, GA passed away December 18, 2004 following a period of declining health.  She was born to the late William and Vennie (McKinney) Deaver on September 8, 1908 in Banks County, GA.  She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, J.T. & Mickey Wilson, of Hiawassee, GA; brother-in-law and wife, Frank and Elba Wilson, of Loganville, GA; niece, Opal Walls, of Norcross, GA; sisters-in-law, Nadine Adams and Nova Lee Wilson, both of Hiawassee, GA.  A number of nieces and nephews also survive.  Funeral services were held at Macedonia Baptist Church at 11 AM with the Rev. Harold Ledford officiating.  Music was provided by Macedonia Baptist church.  Pallbearers were Rickie Walls, Jerold Mauldin, Donald Mauldin, Carroll McKinney, Dwight Wilson, and Hayward Wilson.  Interment was in Macedonia Baptist Church cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.  Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee in charge of arrangements.
