From the square, drive south on Morgan Rd/ Whitesville Rd/ Hamilton Rd (US 27) 0.9 mi. Turn left (east) on to Colquitt St/Upper Big Springs Rd. Drive east on Upper Big Springs 1.7 mi. The cemetery is on the left side (north) behind the Troup County Farm Bureau.

NEWSON, Joel D.     Birth: 11/4/1789     Death: 12/5/1864 In memory of Joel D. Newson, Born Nov. 4th 1789, Died Dec 12, 1864, Aged 75 years, 1 Month, and 1 Day

NEWSON, Martha M.     Birth: 1/27/1792     Death: 5/16/1833 Sacred to the meory of Martha M. Newson; Who was born January 27, 1792; And departed this life May 16, 1833; Aged 41 years, 3 months, and 19 days I could not find this grave. It was reported in "Family, Church, and Community Cemeteries of Troup County, Georgia"; p. 104, as being a 4 1/2 foot high marble shaft. The attached image may be the remains of this marker.

NEWSON, Mary E.     Birth: 10/1/1807     Death: 4/24/1863 Sacred to the memory of Mary E. Newsom, who was born October 1st 1807, and departed this life April 24th 1863, Aged 55, 6 months, and 14 days.
