From the square, drive south on US 27/ Hamilton Rd 4.9 mi. to the Lower Big Springs Rd. Turn left (east) and drive 1.0. The cemetery is 320 feet behind a house in some woods just to the east of a fence line.

Comments:

Most of this cemetery has been destroyed, with the marble markers hauled off and the land plowed over. Only one marker remains.

His wife was Elizabeth Jane Curtright Sledge. He was Captin of the Chattahooche Rangers or Sledge Guards, 2nd Georgia Cavalry, CSA. He also fought at Fort Tyler in 1865.
