Maude
(Gregory) Mauldin, 80, of Gainesville and formerly of Blairsville,
passed away
December 28 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. She
had been in ill health for several years.
She
is survived by one daughter; Jane Adams; grandson: Christopher Adams of
Gainesville; one sister: Marjorie Baird of Braselton.
Burial
in Lavonia Cemetery in Lavonia, GA.

Mr. Ed Wilford Woody, age 90, of
Blairsville, GA, passed away Saturday, December 31, 1994, in Union
General
Hospital in Blairsville.
Mr. Wood was born in union County,
GA, on February 12, 1904, a son of the late Elisha Woody and Mary
Stover
Woody. He was a member of Owltown Church
of God.
Surviving are a son: Mr. George
Herman Woody, of Dahlonega, GA; a sister, Mrs. Lela Sosebee, of Murphy,
NC; and
a brother: Mr. Elmer Stewart, of Andrews, NC; many friends and other
relatives
also survive.
Funeral services were held Tuesday,
January 3, 1995 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of the funeral home with Rev.
Bobby
Stroud officiating. Special music was
presented by Ken and Elaine Young.
Interment was in Owltown Church of God Cemetery.
Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville
in charge of arrangements.
