Mae Rich Nicholson, age 84, of Blairsville, Georgia, passed away
Thursday,
January 10, 2002 in Union General Hospital in Blairsville.
Mrs.
Nicholson was born in

Kimsey, all of Blairsville; seven grandchildren, Kourtney and Robbie

Mineral Bluff, Georgia, Brittany Walton of Hiawassee, Paul Walton of
Hiawassee;
Terri Norman of Dallas, Georgia; Lisa Dean of Marietta; Craig Rogers
and
Phillip Rogers, both of Charleston, South Carolina; eleven great
grandchildren,
and many other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral
services were held Saturday, January 12, 2001 at 2 pm from the chapel
of
Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville with Rev. Ray Potts and Rev. Vernon
Davenport officiating.
A eulogy was given by hr granddaughter,
Kourtney Stuart. Special music was
presented by The Faith Singers and Martha Davenport.
The following gentlemen served as
pallbearers: David Cox, Tony Dinatale, Hoyt Cunningham, Earl Odom, Rex
Odom and
Fred Roberts. Serving as honorary escort
to the family was Steve Kimsey. Interment
was in Bethlehem Baptist church Cemetery.
