Johnny Hughes, age 67, native and lifelong resident of Union County, Georgia,
passed away on Friday, February 13, 2004 at his home following an illness.

Blairsville; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Floyd Cagle of Mesa, Arizona;
granddaughter, Jennifer Edwards of Pleasant Hill, North Carolina; many other
relatives and friends also survive.

Rich, both of Blairsville; two brothers, Hobert Payne and Willie Payne, both of
Blairsville; twelve grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren and one
great-great grandchild also survive.

Jethro Cline Mahaffey, age 75, of Beale Court Drive in Blairsville, Georgia,
passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2004 in the Union General Hospital
following a brief illness. Mr. Mahaffey
