Even
though Mrs. Pruitt was a quiet and sometimes timid person, she was full
of joy
and happiness which was expressed through the music she played and sang
almost
all her life. This is a wonderful part
of the heritage that she has passed on to her children and
grandchildren. Onzell, better known as
Grandmama Pruitt,
always had a keen interest in her children and grandchildren’s lives,
supporting their varied endeavors.
Keeping up with nine grandchildren living in three different
locations

prayed
for each one on a regular basis. She
hated flying on any size of airplane but that did not stop her from
flying out
West or even to the heart of
She was
preceded in death by brother, Elmer Pitts; sisters, Frances Elizabeth
