Suches, GA; Becky and Jerry Johnson, Jasper, GA; LueAnn and Don Hammontree,
Jasper, GA; Virginia Monroe, Hampton, GA; son and daughter-in-law; Tommy and
Tina Roper, Dahlonega, GA; brother: Billy Roper, Jasper, GA; sisters and
brother-in-laws: Joan and Lee Woody, Suches, GA; Debbie and Pat Childers,
Jasper, GA; Shirley Hitt, Dahlonega, GA; Judy Roper, Jasper, GA; Barbara
Garrett, Savannah, GA; 11 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also
survive.

services were held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, February 16, 2000 at the Banister
Funeral Home Chapel in Dahlonega with Reverence George McKinzey
officiating. Interment followed in the
