elizabeth skinnerr nickel
Mrs. Mary
Elizabeth Skinner Nickel, age 93 of Blairsville, GA, formerly of
Snellville and
Atlanta, GA, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2007 at the Union County
Nursing
Home. She was the daughter of Egan Greer
and Lizzie Marvin Skinner. An agent for
Penn Mutual Life Insurance Co., in 1953 she was Woman of the Year, a
first for
the company. After retirement, she
devoted years to delivering Meals On Wheels and also loved china
painting. She was preceded in death by her
parents; a
brother, Egan Skinner; and husbands John F. Evans and jack B. Nickel.
She is
survived by a sister, Josephine Atkinson of Blairsville; nieces;
nephews;
great-nieces; and great-nephews.
