Townson, age 57, of Terrace Avenue, Murphy, NC died Wednesday, March
12, 2003
in the Murphy Medical Center in Murphy, NC.
He was a

survived by his wife, Gladys Frankum Townson; two sons and their wives,

and Julie Townson of Hayesville, NC and jerry and Michelle Townson of
Blue
Ridge, GA; one sister, Anna Mae Prince of Dalton, GA; two grandsons,
Robbie
Stiles and Guy Macklinley Townson; and one granddaughter, Verner Marie
Townson.
Funeral
services were held Saturday, March 15, 2003 at 2 p.m. from the
Townson-Rose
Funeral Home Chapel in Murphy, NC. The
Rev. Richard Mashburn and Rev. Jerry Rice officiating.

Thomas Foster, age 71 of Leisure Terrace, Blairsville, passed away on

Linden, TN, Philip Kent Foster of Atlanta; one brother and

William (Gene) and Bessie Foster of Jonesboro, GA; many other relatives

Kelley, age 87, of Buford passed away
Born in
Blairsville, Mr. Kelley was a member of the Civilian Conservation
Corps, a WWII
Army veteran, and worked at War Assets,
His wife,
Jimmy B. Kelley, preceded him in death.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law Mike and Elaine
Kelley;
daughter and son-in-law Judy and John Pirkle; grandchildren Kelley
Pirkle and
Crystal Kelley Sigler; great grandchildren Kailey Pirkle and Michael
Sigler;
brothers Ira Kelley of Atlanta and Neal Kelley of Blairsville; several
nieces
and nephews. The family will receive
