Mrs. Rose
Everett King, age 79, of Blairsville, Georgia, passed away Monday,
March 17,
1997 in St. Joseph’s Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.
Mrs. King
was born in Union County, Georgia on April 17,
1917, a daughter of the late Estus Everett and Maude Brackett Everett. She was a local hairdresser, and had lived in
this area for most of her life. She was a
member of Providence Methodist Church and was also a member of the
Blairsville
Order of the Eastern Star #304.
Surviving
are her husband, Mr. Jessie King of Blairsville; daughter, Marcia
Howell, of
Gainesville, GA.; sister, Carmen Keith of Blairsville; and
granddaughter, Robin
Howell of Gainesville, GA.
Funeral
services were held Wednesday, March 19, 1997 at 11 a.m. from the chapel
of
Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Towery, Jr. officiating. Special music was presented by Ken and Elaine
Young. Members of the Eastern Star
conducted funeral services. The
following gentlemen served as pallbearers: Junior Brackett, Charles
Partin,
Jimmy Everett, Dean Everett, Bobby Murphy, and Otis Young.
Interment was in Union Memory Gardens
Cemetery.

Funeral Home of Blairsville in charge of
arrangements.
