Mr.
William
G. Milich, age 67, of Morganton, Georgia, formerly of Blairsville,
Georgia,
passed away Monday, March 30, 1998 in Union General Hospital in
Blairsville. He was born in Richmond
County, New York on April 23, 1930, a son of the late Gavro Milich
and Mildred Gallagher Milich. He
had served in the U.S. marines. Mr.
Milich was of the Presbyterian faith.
Surviving
are his daughter and son, Vicky Conway, and Randall Milich, both of
Medford,
N.J.; sons and daughter, Brian L. Milich, Kerry Milich and Bonny L.
Milich, all
of freehold, N.J.; son, Glenn T. Milich of Purcellville, VA.; son,
William
Milich of Wayne, N.J.; and daughter, Wendy Sekete of Voorhees, N.J.;
brothers,
Robert Milich of Freehold, N.J., Richard Milich of Pennsylvania and
Phillips
Milich of Savannah, GA.; nine grandchildren also survive.
Memorial
services were held Wednesday, April 1, 1998 at 7 p.m. from
Henry-Cochran
Funeral Home Chapel in Blue Ridge with Rev. Travis Adams officiating. Special music was presented by Lois Jones,
Imogene Stewart, and Kay Brown.
Cochran
Funeral Home of Blairsville, GA. was in
charge of arrangements.

Glyne
Coker, age 77, of Canton, Ohio passed away Friday morning February 27th. She was born in Union County, Georgia. She has been a resident of Canton since 1944
and a member of Canton Baptist Temple.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Coker in 1986;
daughter
Joyce Lee Criss in 1993 and son Jeffrey Ira Coker in 1979.
Surviving
are two daughters, Janette Lipscomb of Oakland, MD., Joan C. Griffin of
Alexander City, AL; six grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; three
sisters,
Wilma Davenport, Blanche Rakestraw and Betty Bridges and one brother
Ray
Hedden, all of Georgia.
Services
were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Evergreen memorial Park
with Dr.
Harold Henniger officiating. Schneeberger’s
Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs.
Julia Deyton, age 65, of Blairsville, Georgia, passed away Monday,
March 30,
1998 in Georgia Baptist Hospital in Atlanta.
Mrs. Deyton was born in Towns County, Georgia on July 6, 1932, a
daughter of the late Andrew Cook and Alice Pickelsimer Cook.
She was a
lifelong resident of this area and was a member of
Fairview Baptist Church.
Surviving
are her husband, Birlie Deyton of Blairsville; daughters Rachel Day of
Blairsville, Joyce Newman and Carol Payne, both of Chatsworth, GA., and
Virginia Thompson of Dallas, GA.; sons, Kenneth Deyton, Wayne Deyton,
and
Ronald Deyton, all of Blairsville; sisters, Annie Belle Grissom of
Blairsville,
Lucille Sisum and Maude Harkins, both of
Winder, GA., Lillian Criswell of Ellijay; brothers, Edward Cook
and Jimmy
Cook, both of Blairsville, and David and
Wilburn Cook of Lawrenceville; seventeen grandchildren and one
great
grandchild also survive.
Funeral
services were held Wednesday, April 1, 1998 at 2 p.m. from Fairview
Baptist
Church with Rev. Harley Hunter and rev. Tommy Jones officiating. Special music was presented by Susie Coker
and L.D. and Irene Buchanan, and The New Life Singers.
The following gentlemen served as
pallbearers: Scott and Chad Deyton, Alan Hooper, Joshua and Matt
Deyton, Jeremy
Deyton, Doug Ball, and Herbert Teague. Interment
was in Union Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Services
for Earl Guy “E.G.”
Satterfield, age 85, of Eustace were held Tuesday, march
31, 1998 at the Payne Springs Baptist Church with rev. Herschel Baucom
officiating. Interment followed in the
Payne Springs Cemetery under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home of
Mabank.
Mr.
Satterfield was born November 25, 1912 in Union County Georgia to Mary
Satterfield and passed away on March 28, 1998 in Eustace following a
short
illness. He had lived in Eustace the
past 21 years moving form Ducktown, Tennessee where he had retired form
copper
mining with the City Service Company.
Mr. Satterfield was a member of the Payne Springs Baptist Church.
Survivors
include his wife, Magdaline Satterfield of Eustace; sons, Earl
Satterfield, Jr.
of Epworth, GA., Tom Satterfield of Ducktown, TN., Robert Satterfield
of
Marietta, GA., and Johnny Satterfield of Blue Ride, GA.; daughters,
Vivian
Arthur of Eustace, Delores Killian of Ducktown, TN., Theresa Nicholson
of
Ducktown; step-children, Kenneth Satterfield of palmetto, GA., and
Brenda Hill
of Holly Pond, Alabama; 24 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and 2
great
great grandchildren.
