Gilreath was born in

are his son and daughter-in-law, James & Glenda Gilreath, of Blairsville;
daughter and son-in-law, Melanie and Rodney Kuykendall, of Asheville, North
Carolina; granddaughter, Abby Jackson; grandsons: Josh Kuykendall and Jake
Cawthorn; brothers: Gene Gilreath of Suches, Georgia and Rufus Gilreath, of
Canton, Ohio; many other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral
services were held Tuesday, April 6, 2004 at 10:00 a.m., in the chapel of
Cochran Funeral Home in Blairsville, with Rev. Vernon Davenport
officiating. Special music was presented
by The Faith Singers. The following
gentlemen served as pallbearers: Greg Gilreath, Chuck Gilreath, Jurl Gilreath,
Brad Smith, Jeff Farmer, and Rufus Everett.
