Mr. Edwin
Pail Collins, age 87, of Young
Harris, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, Mat 23, 1995 in Union General
Hospital in
Blairsville.
Mr. Collins was born in Union
County, Georgia on January 8, 1908, a son of the late Arley Aaron
Collins and
Mary Ann Cook Collins. He had lived in
this area for all of his life and was a member of Old Union Baptist
Church in
Young Harris.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Pauline
Thomas Collins, of the home; sons: Mr. H.A. “Cecil” Collins of
Marietta,
Georgia, Clinton D. Collins and Clarence L. Collins, both of Young
Harris;
eight grandchildren and six great great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were held Tuesday,
May 25, 1995 at 2 p.m. from Old Union Baptist Church with Rev. Lester
Sutton
and Rev. Tom Smith officiating. Music
for the service was presented by Ken and Elaine Young. The
following gentlemen served as pallbearers:
William McClure, Wayne Collins, Stacy Collins, Barry Collins, Stanley
Collins,
and Mike Plott. Interment was in Old
Union Baptist Church cemetery (sic)
Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville
in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Hoke
Seabolt, age 84, of Blairsville,
Georgia, passed away Thursday, May 25, 1995 at his home following an
extended
illness.
Mr. Seabolt was born in Fannin County,
Georgia on July 4, 1910, a son of the late Henry Monroe and Edith Nancy
Walker
Seabolt. He was a veteran of the U.S.
Army and served during World War II. Mr.
Seabolt was a lifelong resident of this area and owned and operated a
dry goods
store in town for many years. He was of
the Baptist Faith (sic) and a member of Allegheny Masonic Lodge #114, F
&
AM.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lina
Jones Seabolt of the home; a brother, Hayden Seabolt of Blairsville;
two
sisters, Lola Patton and Inda Horner, both of Blairsville; include
many
other relatives
and friends also survive.
Funeral services were held Saturday,
May 27, 1995 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of the funeral home with Rev.
Tommy
Jones officiating. Special music was
presented by The New Life Singers. The
following gentlemen served as pallbearers: Ray Rogers, Butch Patton,
Kennon
Seabolt, Chris Henson, Denny Patton, and Jimmy Seabolt.
Interment was in Union Memory Gardens
Cemetery.

in charge of arrangements.
