Carol Peterson Vegas, age 64, of
Born in
She is
survived by her husband, Paul L. Vegas of Blairsville and Bay St.
Louis, two
daughters, Holly Vegas of Latham, NY and Virginia Vegas Reynolds of
Sharon CT;
two sons, Hunter Vegas of Kernersville, NC and Michael Vegas of Flowery
Branch,
GA; and six grandchildren.
Mrs.
Vegas has lived in Bay St. Louis since April 1963, and she and her
husband,
Paul, made Blairsville their second home in August of 1994. Her first priority was the love, care and
support of each of her family members and the balance of her life was
spent in
various fields of volunteerism. Her
services included missionary work with primitive Indians from
Memorial
services for Mrs. Vegas will be held on Sun-day, June 26, 2000 at 2
p.m. in the
Episcopal Church of the Messiah, Murphy, NC.
