mrs. antoinette catherine markowski
Mrs.
Antoinette
Catherine Markowski, age 88, of Blairsville, passed away Thursday, June
12,
1997 at Union General Hospital.
Mrs.
Markowski was born in Passaic, New Jersey, November 30,
1908 a daughter of the late Francis and Catherine Mastaj Sroka. She was a homemaker and had lived in
Blairsville about 20 years coming from Miami, Florida.
She was a member of Providence Methodist
Church. Mrs. Markowski was preceded in
death by her husband Clyde L. Markowski.
Survivors
include daughter Lorraine Bergreen of Blairsville,
daughter and son-in-law Rose and Dan Davis of Blairsville, Georgia and
daughter
and son-in-law Toni and Paul Hilton of Memphis, TN; brother Ben Sroka
of Dover,
Del.; sister Veronica Kobal of Bayonne, NJ; grandchildren Toni Lynn
Carley,
George Clyde Thompson, James Leonard Thompson, Daniel Davis, Kathy
Sherman,
Jeffrey Hilton and Jackie Hilton. Nine
great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral
services were held Saturday, June 14, 1997 at 11:00 a.m..
from the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home with
Rev. Mark
Towery officiating. Pallbearers were
Mike Jones, Ronnie Coker, Cory Thomas, Damon Hook, Richard Jones and
Steve
George. Interment was in the Providence
Methodist Cemetery.
Cochran
Funeral Home of Blairsville in charge of
arrangements.

Mrs.
Marie
Alice Aaron, age 82, of Blairsville, Georgia passed away Monday, June
9, 1997
at her home.
Mrs.
Aaron was born in Morris, New Jersey, March 15, 1915 a
daughter of the late Rene Thurston Levalley and Margaret Ann Duguid
Levalley. She was a homemaker and had
lived in Blairsville for about 28 years coming from Hollywood, Florida. Mrs. Aaron was of the Presbyterian
faith. She was preceded in death by her
husband Harry C. Aaron, a son Harry T. Aaron and a daughter Verna S.
Aaron
States.
Survivors
include two daughters, Bette Aaron of Leesburg,
VA. and Sally A. Aaron of Blairsville, Ga.
(sic), nine
grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive.
Memorial
services were held Saturday, June 14, 1997 from the home of Mrs. Aaron. Interment was in Union Memory Gardens.

in charge of arrangements.
