Mr.
Albert Claude White, of Jones Rd.,
Blairsville, passed away on Friday,
June 22, 2012 at his home following an extended illness. Mr. White was
a native
and lifelong resident of Union County. Claude had served as Chief of
Police in
Blairsville for over twelve years before his retirement. He enjoyed
farming and
raising cattle. Claude was a loving husband, father, brother,
grandfather and
great-grandfather. Mr. White was a member of Zebulon Baptist Church and
was
attending Liberty Baptist Church.
Surviving
Mr. White are his loving wife of thirty-five years, Mary Deyton White
of
Blairsville, three sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and Becky White of
Dahlonega, Terry and Cheryl White of Woodstock, Randy and Marsha White
of
Blairsville, one brother, James T. White of Blairsville, one sister,
Wilma Jane
Holliday of Jacksonville, FL, nine grandchildren, Justin White, Adam
White,
Natasha Harwood, Joseph White, Alan White, Cody White, Brandy Hughes,
Megan
Beaver and Aaron Beaver, three great- grandchildren, Reagan and Mason
Harwood
and Kolby Hughes, many other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral
services were held on Monday, June 25, 2012 at 2 p.m. from the Liberty
Baptist
Church with the Rev. Gary Rogers, Rev. Jimmy Rogers and Dr. Don Pruitt
officiating. Special music was presented by Jamey Gibson, Michelle
Rowe, Marty
Groves and the Liberty Baptist Church Choir. Claude lay in state at the
church
on Monday from 1-2 p.m. The following gentleman served as pallbearers,
Justin,
Adam, Alan and Cody White, Aaron Beaver and Matthew Parton and Mark
Burrell.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were, Bill Jones, Allen Conley, Burl
Conley,
Don Phillips, F.C. Collins, and all Law Enforcement Personnel.
Interment followed
in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. The family met with friends at
the
funeral home on Sunday evening from 6-9 p.m.

Little
Brantley Kaleb Moore,
age 5 months, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2012 in Alpharetta, GA.
Brantley
was born January 17, 2012 in Toccoa, Ga.
Survivors
include parents Christopher and Samantha Scott Moore of Blairsville and
Alpharetta, paternal grandparents, Ben and Cindy Moore of Blairsville,
maternal
grandparents, Terri Thomason of Alpharetta and Robert Scott of Toccoa,
brothers
Kyler Benjamin Moore and Trevor Lucus Scott.
Funeral
services were held Sunday, June 24, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Mountain View
Funeral
Home Chapel with Rev. Leon McDonald officiating. Interment followed in
Providence Methodist Cemetery. Pallbearers were Stephan Moore and Kelly
Scott.
The family received friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening
from 7
until 9 p.m.
