Mrs.
Tabatha Raye Brown, age 24, of Roberts Rd., Blairsville, passed away on
Sunday,
July 6, 2008 at her home following a sudden illness.
Mrs. Brown was born on Sept. 27, 1983 in Ft.
Pierce, FL, the daughter of Ricky Boehnlein and Becky Mounts Boehnlein. Mrs.
Brown had lived most of her life in
Union County and had attended the Union County School System. She was a loving wife and mother.
She loved fishing, being with her family and
going to church. She was preceded in
death by a grandfather, Howard Mounts, two great grandmothers, Juanita
Chisholm
and Sadie Mounts. Mrs. Brown attended
Owltown Church of God.
Surviving
Mrs. Brown are her loving and devoted husband, Justin Brown of
Blairsville,
four children, Michael Blake Boehnlein, Adam Jason Lynn, Chad Cole
Duane Lynn
and Haley Emma-Grace Brown, all of Blairsville, grandparents Billy and
Rose
Mary Mounts of Blairsville, mother and step father, Becky and David
Johnson of
Austin, TX, father, Ricky Boehnlein of Cleveland, OH, sister Ashley
Conte of
Austin, TX, father and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Karen brindle of
Blairsville,
many other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral
services were held on Friday, July 11, 2008 at 11 a.m. from the Owltown
Church
of God with the Rev. Michael Anderson officiating.
The following gentlemen served as
pallbearers, Adam Goodner, Charles Sadler, Billy H. Mounts, John
Chisholm III,
Cody and Clinton brindle. Interment followed
in
the Owltown Church of God Cemetery. The
family met with friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening from
6-9 p.m.

Garlin
Ray Wheeler, Sr. passed away July 3, 2008, in Bartow, FL, following an
extended
illness. Mr. Wheeler was born in
Trafford, AL, on July 26, 1936. He was
71.
Mr.
Wheeler moved to Blairsville in 1990 where he lived
until 2006.
He is
survived by his sister, Faye Waring of FL, tow daughters, Cynthia
Copeland of
Crystal River, FL, Rayannette Wheeler of Blairsville, GA, and one son,
Garlin
Ray Wheeler, Jr. of Fort Meade, FL, and two stepchildren, Cheryl Weaver
and
Butch Walker, both of Blairsville, GA.
Also six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, many nieces,
and one
nephew survive.
There is no
service date planned as of this time.
Mr.
Wheeler donated his body to Shands Teaching Hospital in
Gainesville, FL, to help with medical research.

Mr.
Richard
(Dick) Werch passed away at age 74, at his home, on July 9, 2008. The Wisconsin native was the youngest of 15
children. He and his wife, Irene, retired 11 years ago, from Marietta,
GA., to
the home on Lake Nottely, in Blairsville, GA.
Mr. Werch
served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1950-1954.
He graduated from the University of
Wisconsin-Platteville, with a major in engineering.
He worked for FM Global for 30 years as a
fire protection engineer. Throughout his
life he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, woodworking and traveling.
He is
survived by his wife, Irene (Alf) Werch; daughter, Kay Graap;
son-in-law, ken
Graap; and granddaughter, Kyra;
He is survived by four sisters and a
brother, all reside in Wisconsin: Helen Reilly of Berlin; Lois Weisman
of west
Bend; Liz martin of Poysippi; and Art Werch of Ripon.
Richard and
his wife are members of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church. He leaves behind many, many dear
friends. A funeral will be held at the
church on Friday, July 18, 2008 at 10:30 a.m.

In lieu of
flowers, the family suggests a donation be made in memory of “Dick”
Werch at:
Georgia Mountains Hospice, 70 Caring War, Jasper, GA 30143 or Shepherd
of the
Hills Lutheran Church.
Mr.
Werch’s ashes will be interred at the church’s Memorial
Garden.
