Dillard Townsend, age 93, of Blairsville passed away on
Surviving
Mr. Townsend are his wife, Mona E.
Townsend of Suches, two daughters and son in laws, Katie and Curtis
Cooper of
Blairsville, Maxine and Lewie Hughes of Young Harris, two sons and
daughter in
laws, Claxton and Nancy Townsend of Blairsville, Denny and Terri
Townsend of
Woodstock, six sisters, Bessie Sexton, Sara Roberts, Betty Orr, Margie
Butt,
Jeanette Vest, and Grappelle Thompson, three brothers, Tomm, Odell and
Robert
Townsend, twenty three grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren,
four
great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends also survive.

Allen Barnes, age 87, of

Mr. Barnes are four daughters and son in laws; Betty and Edward Sexton,

and Johnny Martin, Revonda and Roy Phillips, Vivian and Ervin Martin;

and daughter in law, Vernon and Rachel Barnes, all of Blairsville; five
brothers, Dillard Barnes of Bryson City, NC, Gilmer Barnes of Travelers
Rest,
NC, Baxter Barnes of Rutherford, NC, Dexter Barnes of Waynesville, NC,
and Max
Barnes of Mint Hill, NC; ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren,
many
other relatives and friends also survive.
