Mr.
Charles H. Jordan, Jr., age 83, of
Blairsville, Georgia, passed away Monday, August 28, 1995 at his home.
Mr. Jordan was born in Indiana on
June 6, 1912, a son of the late Charles Henry Jordan, Sr., and Nora
Dinkle
Jordan. He had lived in this area for
the past twelve years, and attended the House of Prayer Church. He was a member of Windhorst Lodge, F &
AM of Tampa, Florida.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Alameda
Alfrey Jordan, of the home; two daughters, Sally Vancourt and Beverly
Smith,
both of Blairsville; sister, Catherine Belcher, of Indianapolis,
Indiana; three
grandchildren, Ronald Stephens, Douglas Simmons and Susie Simons; four
great
grandchildren, Janet Essley Justin Simmons, Trista Stephens and
Brittany
Simmons.
Funeral services were held Thursday,
August 31, 1995 at 2 p.m. from the House of Prayer Church with Rev.
Jerry
Helton officiating. Music was presented
by the House of Prayer Church Choir.
Interment was in Union Memory Gardens Cemetery.

in charge of arrangements.
