Mrs.
Ida Delena Evitt Rudkoff, age 84 of Wesley Mtn. Drive, Blairsville, GA,
formerly
of Chattanooga, TN, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2009 at her home
following
a brief illness. Mrs. Rudkoff was born on
March 2, 1925 in Sumter County, GA, the daughter of the late Elmore
Evitt and
the late Monnie Sauls Evitt. She was
preceded in death by her husband, William Rudkoff and a brother,
William Elmer
Evitt. She was a loving mother,
grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs.
Rudkoff was a member of Simpson memorial Methodist Church.
Surviving Mrs.
Rudkoff are two daughters and one son-in-law, Beverly and James Bennett
of
McCaysville, GA, Dianne Walton of Canton, GA, two grandchildren,
Heather Watson
of Canton, Beth Ware of Morganton, GA, two
great
grandchildren, Angelle Watson and Bryce Ware, many other relatives and
friends
also survive.
A
celebration of life service was held on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2009 at 4
p.m. from
Branan Lodge with Minister Terry Stuart officiating.
Special music was presented by Lewis
Kell. In lieu of flowers if you wish,
the family request that memorials may be made to the American Heart
association
or to Branan Celebration of Service.

Mrs.
Helen
Lucile Maxwell, age 93, of Luther Cain Drive, Suches, GA, passed away
on
Wednesday, September 9, 2009 in the Union County Nursing Home following
an
extended illness. Mrs. Maxwell was born on
Aug. 27, 1916 in Cleburne, TX, the daughter of the late Hugh Blasingame
and the
late ruby Wilson Blasingame. She was
preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Maxwell in 2004.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great
grandmother and great-great grandmother.
Mrs. Maxwell was of the Protestant faith.
Surviving Mrs.
Maxwell are one daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Dennis Horcher of
Suches,
four grandchildren, Chuck and Kate Yancey of Blairsville, Carol and
Doug Van
Cleef of Oak Ridge, TN, Craig and Jane Yancey of Wesley Chapel, FL,
Maureen
Herrera of Tampa, FL, seven grandchildren, Jessica Yancey, Tanya Davis,
Josh,
Daniel and Jordan Van Cleef, Derek Yancey and Savannah Herrera, three
great-great grandchildren, Jacob, Rachel and Phoebe Davis, many other
relatives
and friends also survive.
A memorial
service will be held at a later date. In
lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that memorial may be
made to
the MDA in memory of Mrs. Maxwell.

Mr.
Edward
Clarence Teague, age 68 of Boxer Lane, Toccoa, GA, formerly of
Blairsville
passed away on Friday, Sept. 18, 2009 in Washington, GA, from injuries
received
in an automobile accident. Mr. Teague
was born on May 19, 1941 in Union County, the son of the late Tom
Teague and
the late Mary Linda Towe Teague. He was
a veteran of the US Army of the Vietnam War.
He was a loving father, grandfather and brother.
He was preceded in death by three brothers,
Jack (Jessie), Richard (Earl) and Loyd Teague, also one sister, Pearl
Gunn.
Mr.
Teague is survived by six children, Linda and Ertle
Jones of Lumberton, NC, William Teague of Kearns, UT, Robert and
Sulemita
Teague of Daybreak, UT, Edward Teague of Kearns, UT, Gladys and Rafael
Pastrano
of Panama City, Panama, Salomon and Genia Teague of Frankfurt, Germany,
four
sisters, Grapell Harkins of Blairsville, Lulabell Davis, Shirley and
William
Adams all of Dahlonega, Geneva Nix of Cleveland, GA, Jerry and Deborah
Teague
of Jefferson, GA, Louis and Kathy Teague of Cleveland, GA, six
grandchildren,
Ertle C. and Krista Jones, Michael Jones, Leonor, Ninoska, Liam and
Ammon
Teague, many other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral
services were held on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009 at 2 p.m. from the
Mountain View
Chapel with the Rev. Dwayne Patterson officiating.
The following gentlemen served as
pallbearers, Michael Harkins, Douglas Gunn, Ben Hooper, Johnny Adams,
Scott
Adams and Jason Teague. Interment
followed in the Owl Town Church of God Cemetery with the North Georgia
Honor
Guard conducting military honors.

Mr.
Charles
f. Bonnell, age 72 of the Young Harris Hwy., Blairsville passed away on
Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009, at his home following a brief illness. He was a veteran of the US Army.
He was preceded in death by his wife,
Elizabeth Love Cale Bonnell in 2007.
Surviving Mr.
Bonnell are two sons, Charles F. Bonnell Jr., Douglas Bonnell, one
daughter,
Stephanie A. Polk, one step daughter, Melanie Miller, brother-in-law,
Mike
Kasson, many other relatives and friends also survive.
A memorial
service will be held at a later date. In
