are his wife, Dorothy Mae Thomas Hughes of Blairsville; sons and
daughter-in-laws, Avery and Louise Hughes, Tony and Julie Hughes, all of
Blairsville; daughter and son-in-law, Jeanette and Doug King of Blairsville;
and daughter-in-law, Eloise Hughes of Blairsville; two sisters, Louise Adams
and Iva Potts, both of Blairsville; eight grandchildren, Kevin Hughes, Derrick
Hughes, Scott Hughes, Nicole Hughes, Brandon Hughes, Heather Hughes, Steven
King and Brianna King. Many friends and
other relatives also survive.

Mr.
William Lee “Bill” Colwell, age 74, of Adrian, Michigan, formerly of
Blairsville, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2000, in Lynwood Manor
Nursing Home in Adrian following an extended illness.
Mr.
Colwell was born in

are daughter, Sharon Lee Colwell of Ypsilanti; daughter and son-in-law, Linda
and Dennis Deck of Tipton, Michigan; daughter and son-in-law, Marsha and Robert
McLaughlin, of Pinckney, Michigan; and daughter and son-in-law Mary and Michael
Garris of Saline, Michigan; two sisters, Ruth and Mary Colwell of Blairsville;
nine grandchildren and one granddaughter-in-law; and one great grandchild also
survive, along with many other relatives and friends.
