MR. thomas freder lourigan

 

Mr. Thomas Freder Lourigan, age 66, of Dillard Road, Blairsville, formerly of Stone Mountain, GA passed away on Thursday evening, November 16, 2000 in the Union General Hospital following an extended illness.  Mr. Lourigan was born on November 26, 1933 in Kenosha, WI. The son of the late Walter Lourigan and the late Florence Young Lourigan.  He was a  WWII Veteran and a member of the Knights of Columbus, The North Georgia AM Radio Operators Club and a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

Surviving Mr. Lourigan are his loving wife of forty five years, Barbara Lourigan of Blairsville; one daughter Theresa Moulder of Madison, GA; son, Jeffery Thomas Lourigan of Vancouver, WA; son and daughter-in-law, Timothy Douglas and Mona Lourigan of Tucker, GA; one brother, Patrick Lourigan of Kenosha, WI; daughter-in-law, Tamar Lourigan of Las Vegas, NV; nine grandchildren, Steven, Michelle, Brian, Kevin, and Brook Lourigan, Korene Smith, Ashley Pitts and Justin Moulder, many other relatives and friends also survive.

A Funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 20, 2000 at 11 am from St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church with the Rev. Selva Roj, B. officiating.  Interment followed in St. Claire’s Columbarium.  In lieu of flowers, if you wish, donations may be made to the St. Claire’s Columbarium Fund in Mr. Lourigan’s memory.
