Mr. John
G. Traina, age 95, of Kelly Circle in Blairsville, GA., formerly of Tampa, Fl.,
passed away on Monday, November 17, 2003 in the union general Hospital
following an extended illness. Mr.
Traina was born on
Surviving
are his loving wife of sixty three years, Jennie Centinaro Traina, of Blairsville;
two daughters and son-in-laws, Linda and Dennis Lopez of Blairsville, Rose Ann
and Bob Buning of Homosassa Springs, Fl; one sister and brother-in-law, Lilly
and Lewis Marchetta of Tampa; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Joe and Grace
Traina, Tony Traina, all of Tampa; three grandchildren, Dennis Lopez, Jr.,
Jennifer Lopez Walts and David Buning; two great grandchildren, Jake and BeBe
Walts; many other relatives and friends also survive.
A private
memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, if you wish, the family requests that memorials may
be made to Special Olympics in Mr. Traina’s memory.

Gertie Novella Ownbey, age 75 of the Murphy Hwy., Blairsville passed away
Monday, November 17, 2003 in the Union General Hospital following a brief
illness.

Blairsville, Linda Ownbey of Blairsville; three sisters, Vera Hall of
Blairsville, Minnie Beaver and Ollar Dailey both of Ohio; three brothers,
Elbert Beaver, Fred Beaver and Max Beaver all of Morganton; two grandchildren,
Greta Collins of Blairsville, Greg Collins of Murphy; one great grandchild,
David Collins, many other relatives and friends also survive.
