Mr.
Monroe
Jackson Taylor age 69 of N. Timber Ridge Rd., Blairsville passed away on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2008 at his home
following a brief
illness. Mr. Taylor was born on Sept. 6,
1939 in Fannin County, the son of the late Paul Monroe Taylor and the
late
Willia Mae Meers Taylor. Monroe loved
farming and gardening. He was a gentle,
caring and considerate person who loved his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and
also two sisters, Maebell Lee and Lois Porter.
Mr. Taylor was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving Mr.
Taylor are one son Randy Traylor of GA, one brother and sister-in-law,
David
and Cathy Taylor of Blairsville, several nieces, nephews, many other
relatives
and friends also survive.
Funeral
services were held on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008 at 2 p.m. from the
Mountain View
Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Hubert Legg officiating.
Special music was presented by Hubert and
Betty Legg and Paul Porter. The
following gentlemen served as pallbearers, William, Wendall, Tony,
Edgar and
Ryan Lee, Travis and Matthew Taylor and Chad Gregory.
Interment followed in the Friendship Baptist
Church Cemetery.

Mr.
Charles
William Dyer, age 70, of Cleveland, GA, passed away on Monday, November
10,
2008 at his home following an extended illness.
Mr. Dyer was born on march 28, 1938
in Union
County to the late Roy a. and Stella Payne Dyer. He
was also preceded in death by his
brothers, Jewell Dyer and bobby Dyer.
Mr. Dyer was a life long chicken farmer in Cleveland and
Clermont, and a
devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
He is
survived by wife, Bonnie Dyer of the home; sons and daughters-in-law:
Ray &
Anita Dyer and Larry & Tammy Dyer, all of Cleveland; daughters and
sons-in-law: Faye & Jeff Davis and Sheila & Melvin Helton all
of
Clermont; brother and sister-in-law: Ronnie Y Janie Dyer of
Blairsville; sister
and brother-in-law; Diane & Danny Denson of Douglasville, GA. Mr. Dyer is also survived by 10
grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral
services for Mr. Dyer were held on Thursday, November 13, 2008 in the
chapel of
the Barrett Funeral Home in Cleveland, GA.
Rev. Kyle Savage officiated the
service. Mr. Dyer was buried at the edge
of his farm
near his home in Cleveland. A. Barrett
Funeral Home of Cleveland was in charge of the arrangements.
