Miss
Juanita Reid, age 72, of Blairsville, GA passed away Wednesday,
November 20,
1996 in Copper Basin Medical Center in Copperhill, TN.
Miss Reid was born in Union County August 24,
1924 the daughter of the late James Ed and Lillie Mae Spiva Reid. She had lived in this area all her life and
was a member of the Union Baptist Church in Blairsville.
Survivors
include one sister and brother-in-law Mertie and
Woodrow Dyer of Blairsville, two nieces: Lorene Odom of Blairsville and
Vivian
Hedden of Lawrenceville, GA and many other friends and relatives also
survive.
Funeral
services were held Saturday, November 23, at 2 p.m. from the Union
Baptist
Church with Rev. Benny Nix officiating. The
following gentlemen served as pallbearers:
Jimmy Spiva, Michael Spiva, Steven Spiva, Charles Spiva, Bobby
Lance and
Danny Everett. Music was by The Faith
Singers. Interment was in the Union
Baptist Church Cemetery.
The Cochran
Funeral Home of Blairsville was in charge of the arrangements.
