Mrs.
Annie Laurie Smoot, age 94, of Blairsville, GA, passed away Thursday, November
22, 2001, in Union County Nursing Home in Blairsville.
Mrs.
Smoot had lived in the Atlanta area before moving to Blairsville ten years
ago. She was of the Methodist faith.
She is
survived by two nephews: John Hamsley, of Evansville, Indiana, and Leonard
Cottongim, of Atlanta. Many friends also
survive.
No
services have been planned locally.
