Dyer, and jerry and Lynn Dyer, all of Blairsville; mother, Etta Lee Harris of

Harold W. Jensen, age 97, of

Jensen was born in

include his wife, Helen C. Jensen, of Blairsville; and daughter and son-in-law,
Elsa Jensen Davis and Rev. Paul B. Davis, Jr.; Angela (Colby) Simmons, and Amy
(Robert) Lester; great grandchildren, Andrea Davis, Alex Simmons, Anna Lester
and Shane Simmons; a niece and many other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral
services were held Monday, November 20, 2000 at 2 pm from First United
Methodist Church of Union County, with Rev. Charles Black and Rev. Eddie
Herring officiating. Interment was in
Greenlawn Cemetery in Peachtree, North Carolina.
In lieu
of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to First United
Methodist Church of Union County.

Mr.
Claude Max Everett, age 67, of Buford, Georgia, formerly of Blairsville,
Georgia, passed away Friday, November 24, 2000 in Gwinnett Medical Center in
Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Mr.
Everett was born in Union County, Georgia, on Monday, April 3, 1933, a son of
the late Fulmer Everett and Bonnie Queen Everett. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Mr. Everett was a member of Antioch Baptist
Church. He was retired from the U.S.
Postal Service.
Surviving
are his wife, Louise Deyton Everett of the home; three sons, Rickey Everett of
Carnesville, Georgia, Frank Everett of Buford, Georgia, Claude, Jr. of
Carnesville, Georgia; daughter, Claudia E. Pruitt of Buford; a sister, Ethel
Wimpey of Blairsville; and two brothers Cecil Everett of Ft. Payne, Alabama,
and Charles Everett of Blairsville; eleven grandchildren and two great
grandchildren also survive, along with many other relatives and friends.
Funeral
services were held Monday, November 27, 2000 at 1 pm from the chapel of Cochran
Funeral Home with Rev. Wade Plott officiating.
Special music was presented by The Trackrock Trio Singers. The following friends served as pallbearers:
Dean Wimpey, bobby Lance, Danny Everett, Knox Everett, Ronnie Gray, and Sharon
Stanley. Interment was in Union memory
Gardens Cemetery with military honors presented by North Georgia honor Guard.
