MRS. FLORA WARREN FOSTER

 

Mrs. Flora Warren Foster, age 93, of Blairsville, passed away Monday, November 26, 2001 in Blairsville.

Mrs. Foster was born in Union County and lived here for much of her life.  She was a member of Sandy Plains Baptist Church, Marietta, where she and her family lived from 1943 until 1987.  She was predeceased by her husband, William Henry Foster, in 1997.

She is survived by a son: Wendell Foster, of Blairsville; three grandsons: John W. Foster of Duluth, William H. Foster, II, of Elijay, and Gregory S. Foster of Acworth; one granddaughter: Nancy Yvonne Foster of Sunnyvale, GA; nieces, nephews, and many friends also survive.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2001 at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Blairsville, with Rev. Danny Parris officiating.  Interment was in the Mt. Zion cemetery.
