mrs. glenda D. haney

Mrs. Glenda D. Haney, age 66, of Blairsville, GA formerly of College Lakes, NC and Alaska, passed away Dec. 16, 2002.

Mrs. Haney was born in Talledega, Alabama on Sunday, February 16, 1936.  A daughter of the late Raymond Duncan and Ella Fields Duncan.  She was a civil service secretary and was of the Methodist faith.

Surviving are her husband, Harold, of their home; three children: Harold Ross Haney, Jr., Terilyn Callicott, and Tracy Donnan, all of Atlanta; 1 sister, Billie Jean Jennings, of Chattanooga, TN; four grandchildren: Rebecca Belhumour, Starla Haney, Jeffery Haney, Dustin Haney; two great grandchildren: Shawn Belhumour and Tyler Belhumour.  Many other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services were held Wed. Dec 18, 2002, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of the Cochran Funeral Home in Blairsville, with Rev. Jon Herrin officiating.  Special music was presented by Mrs. Linda Davenport.  If you wish, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society, % Sue Upchurch, 4344 Mulkey Gap Road, Blairsville, GA 30512.
