Mr.
Jonathan Neil Burrell, age 16, of
Surviving
Jonathan are his parents, Terry and Kelly Burrell of Blairsville; two
sisters,
Courtney and Hollie Burrell of Blairsville; maternal grandparents, John
and
Mary Kiernan of Blairsville; paternal grandmother, Mattie Mae Burrell
of
Blairsville; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many other relatives and
friends
also survive.
Funeral
services were held on Monday, April 30, 2001 from the funeral home
chapel with
Rev. Tommy Seay and Father Selva Roj., B. officiating.
Special music was presented by Elizabeth
Plott. The following gentlemen served as
pallbearers: Marshall Gibson, Scott Smith, Scott Thomas, Kevin Terry,
Jeff
Beck, and Christopher Lovell. Interment
followed in the
Mountain
View Funeral Home of Blairsville in charge of the arrangements.

survived by her husband, Walter Spivia, of the home; two sons, Jimmy

GA. and
Genelle Sullivan of Blairsville; five grandchildren: Teresa Garrett of
Blairsville; Tracey Goodall, of Mineral Bluff, GA. Tori Potts, of
Blairsville,
Heather Spivia, of Hiawassee, and Shelley Hughes, of Blairsville; six
great
grandchildren also survive, along with many friends and other relatives.

Annie Erwin Burgess, age 86, of
Surviving
Mrs. Burgess are her loving husband of sixty two years, Floyd Preston
Burgess
of Cleveland; one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Matt Major of
Cleveland;
many other relatives and friends also survive.

Iona Carithers, age 89, of Union County Nursing Home in

Carithers was a native of Spencer County, Indiana, and was born there

Mrs.
Carithers is survived by several nieces and nephews, and locally, a

Pearl Carithers, of Blairsville.

Whitehead of Salt Lack City, Utah; daughter, Heather Lynn Devereaux of
Blairsville;
and daughter Dana Renee’ Devereaux, also of Blairsville; a brother,
Rev. Jan
Devereaux, of Hartwell, Georgia; and a granddaughter, Tessa Elizabeth
Whitehead
of Salt Lake City. Many friends and many
other relatives also survive.
