MR. charles donald losell

 

Mr. Charles Donald Losell, age 46, of Canal Lake Rd., Blairsville, passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2001, at his home following an extended illness.  Mr. Losell was born on Jan. 9, 1955, in Niagra Falls, NY, the son of Donald Losell and Jeannett Weber Losell.  Mr. Losell was a US Coast Guard Veteran and was a member of the American Legion.  He was of the Presbyterian Faith.  Charles was a loving husband, father, and son, and was a friend to all who knew him.

Surviving Mr. Losell are his loving wife, Joan Seiffert Losell; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Caroline Gonzalez of Tampa, FL; son, Rick Gonzalez of Blairsville; father and mother, Donald and Jeannett Losell of Blairsville; one sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Roy Chrissman of Atlanta; grandchild to be, Victoria Christine or Christopher Michael Gonzalez; and many other relatives and friends also survive.

Memorial services were held on Saturday, June 9, 2001, at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Jerry Helton and Rev. Guy Wayne Shook officiating.  Special music was presented by Lena MacDougald and Phyllis Shook.  The North Georgia Honor Guard conducted the committal service.

mrs. constance vincent brown

 

Mrs. Constance Vincent Brown, age 67, of Lakeside Village, Blairsville, GA. passed away Thursday, June 7, 2001, in St. Joseph’s Hospital in Atlanta.

Mrs. Brown was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, on Tuesday, June 13, 1933, a daughter of the late Adrian Vincent and Edna Cassavant Vincent.  She was a homemaker and had lived in this area since 1997, when she and her husband moved from Charlotte, NC.  She was of the Catholic faith.

Surviving are her husband, Charles Brown, of Blairsville; son, Stephen Brown, of Columbus, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Erik and Rachel Brown, of Lilburn, GA; and son, Karl Brown, of Alpharetta, GA; two grandchildren: Karla LeBaron and David LeBaron, both of Roswell, GA; many friends and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services were held Monday, June 11, 2001, at 11 a.m., from the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville, with Father Balappa Selvaraj and Rev. James Styles officiating.  The following gentlemen served as pallbearers: Harry Wray, Mike LeBaron, Hal Springer, George Toth, Richard Kretchman, and Richard Peterson.  Interment was in Union Memory Gardens Cemetery in Blairsville.

If you wish, in lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to The American Cancer Society, % Sue Upchurch, 4344 Mulkey Gap Road, Blairsville, GA 30512.
