Surviving
Mrs. Reece are her loving husband of seventy years, Hoke Reece, of Blairsville;

Verlon Reece, of Marietta, James Reece, of Marietta, Sue Wright, of Ranger, GA,
Bobbie Honaker, of Blairsville, Brenda Spiva, of Hiawassee, and Rex Reece, of
Rome, GA; one brother, Anceberry Joe Burnett, of Blairsville; three sisters,
Mattie Bell Cantrell, of Dahlonega, Naomi Reece, of Augusta, and Lela Stephens,
of Blairsville; twenty-two grandchildren, forty-seven great grandchildren, many

Robert H. Artmire, age 55, of
Mr.
Artmire was born in Marion County, Indiana.
He was employed as an electronics technician in the theatre business in Florida
for 20 years; was the former owner of Manhattan Hardware, Tampa, FL; was a
part-time employee of Campbell Municipal Airport, Copperhill, TN, in 1996-97
then became manager at Blairsville Municipal Airport from 1997-98. Bob was an excellent pilot and enjoyed
anything to do with airplanes. He

Mr.
Richard Earl Rahn, Sr., of Blairsville, Georgia passed away on Sunday, July 9,
2000, at his home following an extended illness.
Mr. Rahn
was born in Erie County, Pennsylvania, on Friday, December 4, 1925, a son of
the late John Henry Rahn and Helen Louise Glover Rahn. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, Airborne
Division, and served during WW II. Mr.
Rahn was a paratrooper in Germany during The Battle of the Rhine. For his military service, he received a
Purple Heart. Mr. Rahn retired from the
Coast Guard Auxiliary in Florida. He had
lived in Blairsville for the past four years, moving here from St. Petersburg,
Florida. Mr. Rahn was a member of First
Baptist Church of Blairsville. He was
preceded in death by a son, Daniel G. Rahn, in 1994.
Survivors
include his mother, Helen L. Rahn, of St. Petersburg; five children, Sandra
Rahn Benz, of Evanston, Illinois; Richard E. Rahn, Jr., of Bartow, Florida;
Lynne Stokkeland, of Hiawassee, Georgia; Bill Rahn, of Hickory, North Carolina;
and Brenda Rahn, of Blairsville; a brother, William H. Rahn, of Brooksville,
Florida; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive.
