A poem close to Wanda’s heart:
By the
Grace of God
by James
J. Metcalfe
All
things are by the grace
of God …
Including Life
and
Death…Maturity and
Widsom…A
newborn baby’s
Breath…The
Sun and
Moon…The
Mountain
peaks…The
Weather and
Sea…And
Everything upon
this
Earth…Of time and
memory…Yet,
some forget
this
vital fact…While in their
selfish
way…They try to take
the
credit for…The Glory of
the
Day…What they do…
And hold
themselves
apart…As
being so much
better
than…The Ones of
Humble
Heart…But They
must know
they Cannot
live…Forever
on this
sod…And
therefore even
they
Themselves…Are by the
Grace of
God.
