MRS. HELEN CHURCHILL

 

Mrs. Helen Churchill, age 88, of Blairsville, GA passed away Sunday, August 10, 2003 in the Union County Nursing Home.

Mrs. Churchill was born in Peoria, Illinois on September 22, 1914, and was an owner of a pet supply store.  Mrs. Churchill moved to this area from Jupiter, FL in 1985, and attended First Baptist Church of Blairsville.  Her husband, Cecil Lee Churchill and her son, Robert L. DeMarco preceded her in death.

Surviving are her son, Ronald C. DeMarco; grandchildren, Diane Acker of Sugarhill, GA, Laura DeMarco of Blairsville, Denise Klinepeter of Tallahassee, FL, Kevin DeMarco of Orlando, FL and Lisa Cavender of Houston, TX.

There are no memorial services planned at this time.

Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville in charge of the arrangements.

LOUIS MICHAEL HELLER

 

Mr. Louis Michael Heller, age 54, of Blairsville, Georgia, formerly of Brighton, Michigan, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2003 in Towns County, Georgia.

Mr. Heller was a native of Wayne County, Michigan and had recently retired as a restaurant owner in Michigan.  He was of the Catholic faith.

Surviving are his wife, Mary I. Hyslop-Heller, of Blairsville; his mother, Dorothy Holzheter, of Livonia, Michigan; daughter, Laurie Heller, of Howell, Michigan; son, Michael Heller, of Brighton, Michigan; step-son, Andrew Hyslop, of Skopje, Macedonia; and step-daughter, Ali Hyslop, of Kalamazoo, Michigan; brother, Herbert Holzheter, of Norfolk, Virginia; and sister, Denean Evans, of Dallas, Texas; many other relatives and friends also survive.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, August 15, 2003, In Hamburg, Michigan.

          Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville was entrusted by the family for the arrangements.
