William H. Lynn Jr. of Bointon Beach, FL, Stanley and Chris Lynn of Lakeworth,
FL, Gary and Vickie Lynn of Hagerstown, MD; one brother, Carlos Ingram of
Blairsville; two sisters, Jessie Cantrell of Blairsville, Gladys Stucker of
Blairsville; twenty eight grandchildren; forty four great grandchildren; four
great-great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends also survive.

Linda
Bumpus Woolley, 55, passed away July 25th after an 18 month battle with breast
cancer. A small family service and
scattering of ashes has been planned.
Linda
leaves behind a large and saddened family, especially her husband of 30 years,
Richard; sons, Christopher and Kyle; daughter-in-law, Greta; grand daughters,
Julia and Jaclyn; parents, George and Marilyn; brother, George; sister, Karen;
including their spouses, children and grandchildren; Aunt Flora; numerous
cousins and many friends.
A 1965
graduate of
She has
been a hospital volunteer, guardian ad litem, but preferred helping
animals. In lieu of flowers, she has
asked that donations be made to Flamingo Gardens of Davie and the Wildlife
Center of Ellijay, GA.
Linda
died without regret, sadness or bitterness and she looked forward to joining
the Lord.

Michael
Stephen Krul, age 18, of Blairsville, passed away Thursday, August 14, 2003, as
a result of an automobile accident.
Mr. Krul
had lived in this area since 1996, moving here from St. Petersburg, FL. He attended New Hope Fellowship Baptist
Church and was a graduate of Union County High School.
Survivors
include his parents, Lawrence Krul and Teresa Krul, both of Blairsville;
step-mother, Lisa Lilly-Krul of Blairsville; sister, Katie Krul of Blairsville;
step-sisters, Rebekah and Rachel Lilly of Blairsville; step-brother, Brian
Lilly of Blairsville; maternal grandmother, Patricia Bryson of St. Petersburg,
Fl; paternal grandfather, Edward Krul of Oswego, NY. Many uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives
and friends also survive.
Funeral
services were held Monday evening, August 18, 2003 at 8:00 PM from the chapel
of Cochran Funeral Home in Blairsville with Rev. Leon McDonals officiating.
The
family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Union
County High SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions).

Jerrod
Elisha Shook, age 17, of Blairsville, GA, passed away on Monday, August 11,
2003 in Hiawassee, GA.
Jerrod
was born on Monday, October 15, 1985, a son of Dianna Lynn Foster Shook and the
late Ricky Harold Shook. He was a
lifelong resident of this area and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist
Church. Jerrod was preceded in death by
his father, Ricky Harold Shook and his paternal grandfather, Harold J. Shook.
Surviving
are his mother, Dianna Lynn Foster, of Blairsville; brother, Joshua Harold
Shook, or Murphy, NC; maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Nita Foster, of
Blairsville; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Lush, of Canton, GA; Aunts and
Uncles, Myra and Charles Tallent and Becky and Ricky Lusk, all of Young Harris,
GA; Uncles and Aunts, Steve and Linda Foster and Tim and Debbie Odom, all of
Blairsville, GA; special friend, Julie Rogers, of Hiawassee; Great Aunt and
Uncle, Reba and Marcus Sosebee, of Blairsville; Special Cousin, Bridget
Hemphill, of Blairsville; many other relatives and many friends also survive.
Funeral
services are scheduled for Thursday, August 14, 2003, at 2:00 PM, from the
chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Blairsville, with Rev. Ricky Rogers, Rev.
Harold Ledford and Re. Ronnie Dilbeck officiating. Special music will be provided by Sam and
Sammy Ensley.
The
following gentlemen have been selected to serve as Pallbearers: Jimmy Helton,
Casey McClure, Brandon Tallent, Jimmy Conconko, Bryan Long and Shawn
Mulkey. The following gentlemen have
been selected to serve as honorary escort to the family: Terrance Shook, Kyle Odom, David Foster, Andy
Blackard, Christopher Ledbetter, Mitchell Foster, Brandon Garrett and Shawn
Lickley.

Lowell
“Talker” Warnock of Oxford FL and Blairsville, GA, died August 15, 2003 after
an extended illness.
He was
born on May 13, 1927, in Oxford. He was
a graduate of Wildwood High School and of Florida State University. Lowell was also a member of the VFW and the
American Legion. He served four years in
the United States Navy aboard the destroyer, US Brinkley Bass. He was a retired field auditor for the
Florida Department of Labor. In recent
years he had designed and developed Warnock Mountain Acres Subdivision in
Blairsville, GA. He was an avid
genealogist, historian, and a collector of antique bottles and Indian
artifacts. Lowell was a former farmer
and a cattleman in Oxford. Lowell was an
outdoorsman and an avid hunter.
He leaves
behind his wife Jeannette, of Oxford and Blairsville; ;his beloved daughters
Carol Poole of Crawfordville, FL and Letitia Brown of Lynn Haven, FL;
granddaughters, Amanda Warner, Xanthia Clark, Chelsea Warner, Katherine Poole,
Leah Poole, and Lee Anne Brown; grandsons, Ryan Warner, Craig Brown, and Donnie
Brown; great granddaughter, Nia Kelley; sisters, Ernestine Warnock and Lillian
Lawrence of Jacksonville, FL and Lois Wilson of Ocala; brothers, Herman Warnock
of Hamlet, NC and Wendell Warnock of Oxford.
Preceded in death by brother Edward V. Warnock and sister Lynette
Warnock Tabor.
Funeral
services were held at the Oxford Methodist Church on Tuesday, August 19th at 11
a.m. with Rev. Harry Hollowman and Rev. Gaylor officiating. The burial will follow at Pine Level Cemetery
in Oxford. Contributions may be made to
the Oxford Methodist Church, 3906 East CR 466, Oxford, FL 34484 or to the
American Cancer Society.
