survived by his loving wife, Lisa Gibby Harmon, of the home; his mother, Marion
Parrish Harmon of Gray, Georgia; his two sons, Walker and Wilson, of the home;
sister, Claudia Harmon Schlottman, of St. Simon’s and Macon; and brother, Paul
Harmon, of Nevils, Georgia. Many friends

Elliott Burns, age 92, of

jean and Newell Johnson, of Blairsville; and Sherrell and George Schroeder, of
Mocksville, North Carolina; two brothers, Buell Elliott, of Hiawassee, and Dale
Elliott, of Blairsville; nine grandchildren also survive, along with numerous
nieces and nephews and other relatives.
Funeral
services were held Monday, August 21, 2000 at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Cochran
Funeral Home, with Rev. jerry Karnes officiating. The eulogy was presented by Bruce
Johnson. Special music was presented by
Ivy Log Baptist Church Choir. The
following gentlemen served as pallbearers:

Elliott Hill. Interment was in

survived by a daughter, Mary L. Partin, of Madison Heights, Michigan; daughter
and son in law, Elosie D. and Vaughn England, of Blairsville; and son and
daughter in law, Jimmy N. and Dean Deaver, of Blairsville; nine grandchildren,
fifteen great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren also survive,
along with many friends.
Funeral
services were held Tuesday, August 22, 2000 at 11 a.m. from the chapel of
Cochran Funeral Home of Blairsville, with Rev. Guy Bradley and Rev. Stacy Dyer
officiating. Special music was presented
by Mrs. Gloria Griggs. The following
grandsons served as pallbearers: Ryan
England, Jeff Deaver, Doug England, Dwayne England, Darrell England, and Randy
Partin. Interment was in Liberty Baptist
Church Cemetery.
