Mrs. Miriam Ernestine Brackett,
age 89, of the
Surviving Mrs. Brackett are two sons
and daughters-in-law, Charles and Carolyn Brackett of Blairsville, Johnny and
Martha Brackett of Blairsville; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and
Harold Dolph of Smyrna, GA., Judy and Kenneth Bryant of Marietta, GA; one
sister, Helen French of East Point, GA., sister-in-law, Dola Rector of
Jefferson; eight grandchildren, Dwain Brackett, Stephanie Hilderbrand, Doug
Brackett, Kevin Dolph, Allison Hall, Brittany Russell, Charity Arrowood and
Ashleigh Brant; a host of nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends
also survive.

Mr. Horace Luther Colwell, age 89,
of Blairsville, passed away on Saturday morning,
Mr. Colwell was born in
Mr. Colwell was preceded in death by
a son, Vaughn Colwell, a brother, Frank Colwell, and two sisters, Docia Hunter
and Fannie Rich.
Survivors include his wife of almost
68 years, Edna Shope Colwell, of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Haskin and
Austine Colwell, son and daughter-in-law, Reid and Dora Colwell and a
daughter-in-law, Jackie Colwell, all of Blairsville; five grandchildren, ten
great-grandchildren; many other relatives and a host of friends also survive.
