To The United Daughters Of The Confederacy.
The undersigned, residing in Upson Co. Ga.
Who is an ex-Confederate soldier, and a member of
camp 1480 U.C. Vs. hereby, at your request, presents
this Certificate of Eligibility for a Confederate
Cross of Honor. He entered the service of the
Confederate States on the 1st day of March 1862, as
a PRIVATE in Company A of the 46th GA. Regiment of
Ga. Volunteers C.S.A. and was at that time a
resident of UPSON County. He was honorably
discharged by CLOSE OF THE WAR on the 26, Day of
April 1865, at which time he held rank of PRIVATE.
