To The United Daughters Of The Confederacy.
The undersigned, residing in Upson Co. Ga. Who is an
ex-Confederate soldier, and a member of Camp No.
1480 U.C. Vs., hereby, at your request, presents
this Certificate of Eligibility for a Confederate
Cross of Honor. He entered the service of the
Confederate States on the __ day of March 1862, as a
Private in Company A of the 46th Ga. Reserves
Regiment of the GA. Volunteers For The War C.S.A.
and was at that time a resident of UPSON County, Ga.
He was honorably discharged from service by Close
of War, on the 5th, Day of May 1865, at which time
he held rank of PRIVATE.
