To the United Daughters of the Confederacy:
The undersigned residing at Masonic Home, Macon Ga.,
WHO is the Daughter of Thomas D. BEALL, a
confederate Soldier, hereby presents this
Certificate of Eligibility for a Southern Cross of
Honor. My FATHER entered the service of the
Confederate States on the 7th day of May 1861, as a
CAPTAIN in COMPANY K of the 5th Georgia Regiment of
Upson Guards Volunteers, Thomas D. Beall C.S.A. and
was at that time a resident of Thomaston, Upson Co.
Ga. He was killed in Battle.
