To The United Daughters Of The Confederacy.
The undersigned, residing at Upson Co. Ga. Who is an
ex-Confederate soldier, and a member of camp 1480
U.C. Vs. hereby, at your request, presents this
Certificate of Eligibility for a Confederate Cross
of Honor. He entered the service of the Confederate
States on the 18th day of Oct 1861, as a PRIVATE in
Company I of the 32d GA. Regiment of Ga. Volunteers
C.S.A. and was at that time a resident of UPSON
County. He was honorably discharged by SURRENDER OF
CONFEDERATE ARMY UNDER GENERAL J. E. JOHNSON on
the 26, Day of April 1865, at which time he held
rank of PRIVATE.
