This is the official home page of the Walton County, GA GENWEB Project. We are a group of volunteers working together to provide internet websites for genealogical research in every county in the State of Georgia. This Project is non-commercial and fully committed to free access for everyone. GA GENWEB members are located through the world, not just in Georgia. We rely on the resources of the Internet and on volunteers who are able to transcribe primary documents to assist us in getting information on line.
If you have information that you are willing to share, such as cemetery, census, marriage, deeds, or wills that you have transcribed, or that you would be willing for me to transcribe, please let me know and I will be glad to transcribe them, if needed, and put them up on the page. If you have a home page relating to ancestors from Walton County, I would like to have that also. Any old photos would be great to have too. Family histories, stories about the county, anything of interest along these lines would be helpful. Email Suzanne Forte.
