The Ballard Drug and Chemical Company is a new enterprise
which has been granted a charter to carry on a wholesale drug
business in Waycross.
The principal stockholders of the company are, L. W. Ballard,
of Waycross, A. J. Morris, of Dale County, _____, G. H. Cooper of
Houston County, Ala., though a number of Waycross people are
interested in the enterprise.
The company has a paid in capital of $7,500 and have the
privilege of increasing the stock to $100,000. They will handle
by wholesale, drugs, medicine, chemicals, chemical and
pharmaceutical preparations, druggists' sundries, etc., and will
manufacture a well known line of patent medicines.
