Appreciation is extended to Alfred Kitchen, Ray Thigpen, and others for their outstanding efforts in creating the initial and subsequent county pages and publishing much of the early information included here. You may be wondering why there is not as much information on this site as others, it's because there are over 1400 pages of Warren County records with 94,694 indexed names already published in Dan Crumpton's two records resource books (See Table of Contents Book_I and Book_II). These contain almost all the records in the court house from 1790 to 1900. If you have an extensive family history from Warren, Glascock, or McDuffie Counties may I suggest you purchase a copy. In March and April, 1996, a group of genealogists organized the Georgia Comprehensive Genealogy Database. The idea was to provide a single entry point for all counties in Georgia, where collected databases would be stored. In addition, the databases would be indexed and cross-linked, so that even if an individual were found in more than one county, they could be located in the index. At the same time, volunteers were found who were willing to coordinate the collection of databases and generally oversee the contents of the web pages. Want to see a listing of ALL Georgia
Counties? In your research, you may also wish to check the

Glascock,
