By Haywood Brookins Ordinary of said County:
TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS SHALL COME - GREETINGS:

KNOW YE, That on the Fifth, 5th, day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Fifty Five the last will and testament of MOOR PRICE late of said county deceased, was exhibited in open court, and in common form of law proved and admitted to record, a copy of which is hereunto annexed, and administration of the estate real and personal so said deceased, was granted to ROBERT PRICE the execuror in and by said bill named and appointed, he having first taken the oath and performed all other requisites required by law, is by order of said court, and by virtue of these presents, legally authorized to administer the estate, real and personal, of the said deceased, according to the tenor and effect of the said will and testament, and according to law. And He's hereby required to render a true and correct account to the said Court of his actings and doings, yearly and every year, until the administration is fully completed.

In the name of GOD Amen. This fifteenth day of August 1848.

I MOOR PRICE of the county and State of said being well in body & health & of sound disposing mind & memory & calling to mind the mortality of my body & knowing that it is appointed unto man to die, do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament - I recomend my soul into the hand of GOD that gave it me & my body I recomend to the Earth from whence it came to be buried in a decent and Christian like manner at the discretion of my Executor & as touching the worldly goods wherewith it hath pleased GOD to bless me with in this life after my just debts and funeral expences being first paid, I give and dispose of in the following manner & form viz:

Item 1st I give to my son JOHN PRICE the sum of one dollar to him and his heirs forever

Item 2 I give to my daughter NANCY PRICE the sum of one dollar to her and her heirs forever

Item 3 My will and desire is that all the balance of my Estate both real and personal consisting of lands, horses, cattle, hogs, sheep, household and kitchen furniture together with every other and ordered thing that I may have or be in posession of at my death or any property that may fall to me otherwise, be equally divided between my other eight children namely ROBERT PRICE, WILLIAM PRICE, SEABORN PRICE, ANNA PRICE, ELBERT PRICE, MARY ANN PRICE, SALLY PRICE & ELIZABETH PRICE to them and their heirs forever and if any of the above named eight children should die before they shall have lawfull heirs then the property to be divided amongst those surviving of the eight above named children. And I do hereby constitute make and ordain my friend William P. Taylor and my son ROBERT PRICE my sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament, Ratifying and confirming this and none others to be my last Will and Testament.
