The Marble Valley Historical Society, Inc. is seeking the family of Dock Franklin Isaac and Ella Cowart Taylor. Dock was Sheriff of Pickens Co, GA 1902 -
1911. When one son died in Cobb Co, GA in 1964, (Davis Ernest Taylor) it stated that four siblings were living in Dalton: Charles, Ernest and Suzy Taylor
and Mrs. Cecil Mullinax. Davis moved to Cobb Co in 1928. MVHS Inc. is seeking a photograph of Sheriff Taylor for inclusion in the Law Enforcement Exhibit at
the Old Pickens Co. Jail. Did not find Sheriff Taylor listed in Whitfield Co. Cemetery Book but he possibly died in Whitfield Co. MVHS Inc., PO Box 815
Jasper GA 30143.

GGGrandfather James or J.F. Hill on 1860 Census Catoosa Co., GA, age 16, and brother John living with W.N. Johnson family as farm laborers--who are and
where are parents? James next appears on 1880 Census Wise Co., TX age 36 with wife Rebecca "Becca" Newton age 23, however, the two oldest children cannot be
hers--they are 12 and 9. The 9 year old is my greatgrandmother Mary Sally/Susan Hill Kuehn Watkins--who was his first wife and their mother? Found J.F. Hill
(alternate name James) on http://www.itd.nps.gov/cwss having been a Corporal in the Confederate 60th Regiment, Georgia Infantry--known to have recruited
from Whitfield and Walker Cos--both neighboring Catoosa Co. Have not had a chance to see film. Would like to extend these lines and share information with
cousins out there.

My great great grandfather Frank (Franklin, Francis) WARE, WEAR, WEIR was on the 1850 Murray County Census. In 1860, on the
Whitfield County Census because of the new county formation. Does anyone know who his father was? There is a Jacob Ware on
the census records in 1850 and 1860 - same counties as Frank. He is the right age to be his father. Have not been able to
find any proof, however. Please write if you have any information.
